Due artisti trascorrono insieme 24 ore nello spazio chiuso di un teatro, da cui non possono uscire. Dormono e mangiano sul palco. Durante questo tempo, sviluppano un concept e creano una performance (della durata minima di 24 minuti), che viene presentata dal vivo sul palco un'ora dopo il termine delle 24 ore. La performance non ha limiti stilistici, ma la danza è prevalente.

Per tutte le 24 ore, anche di notte e al mattino presto, il pubblico può essere presente in teatro e assistere alle prove, interagire con gli artisti e dare input per la creazione dello spettacolo, consegnando suggerimenti sotto forma di testo scritto su un foglio. Gli artisti scelgono se tenere conto o meno di questi suggerimenti. Una videocamera trasmette online le 24 ore di prove e lo spettacolo e una chat room collega lo spazio esterno con quello interno del teatro, permettendo al pubblico di interagire con gli artisti anche via chat. Il risultato dello spettacolo concepito dopo 24 ore non è predeterminato e gli artisti hanno piena libertà creativa. Possono portare oggetti di scena, testi, strumenti musicali prima che inizi il conto alla rovescia delle 24 ore. In ogni caso, lo spettacolo deve essere concepito, provato e presentato alla fine del tempo disponibile. A causa delle restrizioni spaziali e temporali, della privazione del sonno, della costante osservazione e presenza del pubblico e della pressione a cui gli artisti sono sottoposti per creare un vero e proprio spettacolo, in un lasso di tempo così breve, diventano visibili e tangibili i processi mentali, fisici e umani, che normalmente sono diluiti durante una normale produzione di danza.

Queste condizioni estreme e il fatto che entrambi gli artisti si incontrino nel progetto, per così dire, "impreparati" fanno emergere elementi inaspettati e insoliti. 24 ORE X 24 MINUTI offre agli artisti una sfida unica e la possibilità di mostrare le proprie capacità in un contesto non ordinario.

Two artists spend 24 hours together in the enclosed space of a theatre, which they cannot leave. They sleep and eat on stage. During this time, they develop a concept and create a performance (lasting at least 24 minutes), which is presented live on stage one hour after the 24-hour deadline. The performance has no stylistic limitation, but the dance is prevalent.

Throughout the 24 hours, even at night and early in the morning, the audience can be present in the theater and watch the rehearsals, interact with the artists and give input for the creation of the show, delivering suggestions in the form of text written on a sheet. Artists choose whether or not to take these suggestions into account. A video camera streams the 24 hours of rehearsal and the show online and a chat room connects the external space with the internal space of the theatre, allowing the public to interact with the artists also via chat. The result of the performance conceived after 24 hours is not predetermined and the artists have full creative freedom. They can bring along props, lyrics, musical instruments before the 24-hour countdown begins. In any case, the show must be conceived, rehearsed and presented at the end of the available time. Due to spatial and temporal restrictions, sleep deprivation, constant observation and presence of the audience and the pressure to which artists are subjected to create a real show, in such a short space of time, they become visible and tangible the mental, physical, human processes, which are normally diluted during a regular dance production.

These extreme conditions and the fact that both artists meet in the project, so to speak, "unprepared", lead to the emergence of unexpected and unusual elements. 24 HOURS X 24 MINUTES offers artists a unique challenge and the possibility to show their skills in a non-ordinary context.

Con il biglietto per l'appuntamento del 2 dicembre, si potrà assistere al processo creativo degli artisti durante tutte le 24 ore (dalle 23.00 alle 9.00 prenotando su biglietteria@blucinque.it).
Il biglietto acquistato per l'appuntamento del 3 dicembre darà accesso allo spettacolo di almeno 24 minuti, concepito durante le 24 ore, seguito dall'incontro degli artisti con il pubblico.

With the ticket for the appointment on 2 December, you will be able to watch the creative process of the artists during all 24 hours (from 11:00 pm to 9:00 am by booking on biglietteria@blucinque.it).
The ticket purchased for the appointment of 3 December will give access to the show of at least 24 minutes, conceived during the 24 hours, followed by the meeting of the artists with the public.
