From 17 to 21 December 2024, the TIMF - Turin International Monodrama Festival arrives at the Café Müller Theatre in Turin, a festival dedicated to the countries of the Mediterranean Basin and the Arabian Gulf, curated by Centro nazionale di produzione blucinQue Nice and Fondazione Piemonte dal Vivo, with the artistic direction of Barbara Bertin. The project is supported by the Bando dei Progetti Speciali of the Ministero della Cultura.
TIMF will have an international jury and will host a review of seven shows in competition with companies from Italy, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Tunisia, France, Jordan and Palestine, plus two Italian shows out of competition, Gelsomina Dreams and Coppelia Solo by the blucinQue company. In total, more than 30 national and international cultural operators, playwrights, artists and directors will be involved. To complete the programme, the Grattacielo Piemonte will host an international symposium called New Scenes of Arab Theatre.
